The sophistication of our apartment buildings and monumental concrete skeletons is our calling card, throughout the whole of the Czech Republic and Germany. We combine top-quality engineering service, visual value and investment efficiency. We feel responsible for the future; we build and reconstruct buildings designed to be of benefit today and also to bear a legacy of certainty and stability in the future.

We keep our eyes open and actively seek new opportunities, from attractive sites for our development projects through to promising acquisitions that will strengthen our portfolio of construction firms.

Case studies

Bučovické terasy «sold out»!

“For us, the year 2020 was all about completing the residential project Bučovické terasy. This is now attracting the first owners and we see their unprecedented interest as a proof of the relevance of our philosophy. Not just in terms of the craftsmanship and respect for the genius loci, but the emphasis on the culture of life and the environmental aspects are particularly crucial for us.”

The Bučovické terasy residential project is based primarily on a sophisticated layout as well as on a modern yet timeless aesthetic appeal. The fact that each apartment has its own cellar and parking place is something we consider to be a standard. Another factor in the dignified nature of this project is that the smallest studio apartment has more than 40m2 of floor space.

We think about all aspects of housing. Not just about how the façade will look, but also on the surroundings, including stylish designer street furniture and carefully planned greenery. These are values that the end customer notices immediately and all the more intensely.

The entire year 2020 was marked by the pandemic. It therefore proved very farsighted that each of the apartments has its own balcony or terrace. This offers twice as much benefit in these difficult times. From an economic and social point of view, our experience with the lockdown also inspires us to consider how we will plan our projects in the future.

We take a sensitive view of the situation on the property market and make the most of the surge in demand for housing to the benefit of the client. We don’t build just to tick off checkboxes. We are aware of the higher purpose of our work and see it as our mission. With as much empathy as possible we strive to achieve our objectives together and we believe that in the triangle between us, the client and the bank, the end customer is the bearer of Winning Estate’s reputation. This is another reason why we do our utmost to take some of the stress out of the process of finding one’s dream home.

We also see the fact that we construct the buildings ourselves as a major bonus. “I always emphasize to the customer that we regularly carry out inspections, which is above standard in itself. Not just because we like to have a good idea of what we will subsequently be selling.” We feel a strong need to be present during each stage of the construction process. This enables us to gain new experience, which we draw on not only in relation to future owners, but also in the implementation of other projects.

Each contract increases our potential.

Our team continues to perform very well, even during the aftermath of the pandemic. Around 25% of our colleagues are now still working under the home office scheme – the team is doing a great job in producing excellent work and ensuring timely deliveries to our customers. During the last few months we can take pride in our work at the Olympic Park in Munich, where preparations are under way for the construction of a new sports arena for 11 500 spectators. The SAP Garden – Red Bull Arena München will be the home stand for the EHC Red Bull München ice-hockey players and the Bayern München basketball team. The investor is Red Bull. The building, more than half of which is located underground, also includes three training areas (rinks), also completely below ground level. This gives the building a very elegant look and it blends in perfectly with the concept of the park. It goes without saying that there is also ample underground parking capacity. The complex is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton with prefabricated girders that form the system supporting the stands. The roofing of the main part and the training areas comprises a steel lattice structure. Our office was involved in this highly prestigious project as the creator of the design documentation for the reinforced concrete structures.

A leading German building contractor also selected our Winning Steel design office to collaborate on another fascinating project. This is the tunnel roofing over the A7 motorway where it passes through the borough of Altona in Hamburg. The roof will be constructed while the motorway is still open, so we expect to see an interesting and unconventional solution for the concreting and working joint process. Who knows, this reference might help us one day in the future when a similar tunnel is planned in the Brno district of Bystrc.

In May we set to work on the new Neues Korallusviertel housing development project in the German city of Hamburg. As the name, “New Coral District” implies, this is an extensive area covering two and a half hectares, which will see the construction of a complex comprising several multi-storey buildings with more than 400 apartments. The total interior floor space, which exceeds 30 thousand square metres, and the expected implementation costs of 150 million euros merely emphasise the importance of this project for the people of Hamburg. For the first weeks our work will focus on the foundation structures. This process always tends to be slightly more complicated, as most of all it is essential to ensure that all the other structures are properly aligned from the foundations up, and in this case everything also needs to be waterproofed. During next year we should then work together towards the successful completion of the project as a whole.

Each contract increases our potential.
